Surprisingly, BJ’s has some awesome fish tacos!
…some fish tacos from Oaxaca Fresh in Carpinteria. (I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce Oaxaca) Nonetheless, they have some yummy tacos.
…went to a fun barbecue last week and had some delicious beef tacos and cheesy quesadillas! Yummy!
Last Sunday was my Dad’s birthday and to celebrate we took a trip to Beverly Hills to eat at Crustacean’s. Crustaean’s is a Vietnamese restaurant, famous for their crab and garlic noodles. Eating at Crustacean’s was a true experience. First created by Helene An in San Francisco, Crustacean’s had humble beginnings. But through Helene’s special dishes and family-style hospitality, it soon grew into a culinary empire. From all the great reviews and the hype from my parents, I was without a doubt excited to experience the serene ambience and great food from Crustacean’s.

Apparently, Crustacean’s has a secret kitchen within the main kitchen, where only family members are allowed!

A water pathway, crossing the restaurant into the dining room…oooh fancy!

I felt like I was in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Our waiter Nelson recommended these special appetizers that weren’t on the menu. It consisted of short ribs that were so tender and flavorful. Then there were the lobster “pops” on a sugar cane. The sauce was very sweet and tangy. Then, there were the ahi tuna tacos and egg rolls that’s served with a strawberry-kiwi sauce. This was an AWESOME appetizer plate, I just couldn’t choose which one was my favorite, they were all so DELICIOUS!!!

The STAR of the meal…crab! This dish made me feel like royalty, with all that garlic and butter.

This is the An family’s famous garlic noodles. Yay! I just get excited looking at this picture! YUM!!!!!

&&& for dessert…pineapple upside down cake

Banana fritters with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream! Happy 51st Birthday Papa!
&&& you can’t go to Beverly Hills without seeing a celebrity. Guess who was sitting near us at the restaurant??? Cesar Milan!!! The Dog Whisperer.

I get to munch on a taco while Bear Grylls has to bite off a snake’s head. I’m livin’ the good life.
