Ahhhhhhhh….relaxation. It’s summertime which means plenty of free time to go out and explore all the food wonders that life has to offer. So for one of our first summertime foodie trips, my friends & I decided to hit up Santa Monica to soak up the sun, stalk some hipsters and grub on some beach food.
Santa Monica Pier…stupid pole is in the way.
After a nice bike ride along the beach we decided to hit up 3rd street promenade to go munch on some food. We were looking for something simple and affordable so we decided to stop by this cute little italian shop that sold gelato, pizza and paninis. It’s a VESPA!
This place was great..except their chairs. Their chairs sucked.
We bought some European soda. So refreshing!
Those Europeans like their soda clean.
Then I ordered some pizza. I love cheese so this hit the spot.
I would have to say this was the best part of lunch. We ordered a croissant stuffed with two scoops of gelato. Mmmmmm it was so delicious. We picked pistachio and chocolate hazelnut gelato and it was so creamy and tasted great with the buttery flakiness of the croissant! Yummy!
