So here we are, the final chapter of my Bottega Louie series…

I thought it was only proper to end with what Bottega Louie is known for, their macarons. I’ve blogged about Bottega Louie macarons before, but that was when my mom brought them home for me. But it truly is a different experience when you actually go and get them yourself, because you get to hype yourself up with all those flavors of macarons laid out in front of you. The vast array of vibrant colors and all the pretty packaging get you so excited for what you are about to indulge in! So even though we had pizza, fries (portobello to be exact), and assorted amount of desserts, we still wanted to treat ourselves to some of Bottega Louie’s famous macarons!

Right when you walk into the Bottega Louie restaurant you are immediately in the cafe side of the restaurant where you can see all the pretty packaged sweets displayed across the wall. Part of buying sweets from Bottega Louie, isn’t just eating them, but getting to unwrap them from their pretty boxes!

They had these extraordinary displays of macaron croquembouches all over the place. A croquembouche is a french cake with a pyramid of creme puffs towering on top, but here they use macarons. It was such a pretty sight to see as I was determining which flavor of macaron I wanted. I know what I’ll be eating on my wedding day!

In the bakery they have assorted cakes, tarts, and parfaits. I bet which ever one you choose it would most certainly be delicious! But since we already ordered three desserts at the table, I decided to pass and head straight to the macarons.

look at all the options!

At the end of the day I chose pistachio, my ultimate favorite flavor. && like I was expecting it was fantastic! My friends let me keep the box! Yay! It was the perfect bit of crunch and chewiness all at the same time, the pistachio flavor was very intense and as usual it was oh-so-pretty!
